Committees

Communications Committee
The Communications Committee supervises all communiqués to members, the public, government offices and officials, the press and the media. It maintains the association’s website and handles publicity and public relations.
Government / Action Committee
The Government Action Committee attends public meetings of State, County, Town, and Hamlet agencies and reports issues arising from those agencies that impact on the Mattituck-Laurel community. Members occasionally research background applicable to these issues to better inform the membership.
Membership Committee
The Membership Committee is responsible for increasing membership in the association and retaining existing members. It also serves as the liaison (through neighborhood captains) between individual members and the association, bringing specific localized issues to the attention of the entire association.
Events
The Events Committee devises and supervises execution of strategies to generate Events that
will spark Interest and Learning for
Members of the association.
Program Committee
The Program Committee is in charge of the monthly meeting of the association, selecting themes and topics, securing speakers, and handling any logistics necessary.
